MGM College of Physiotherapy envisions to be recognized as Centre of Excellence in Physiotherapy education, research and patient care. It was established in the year 2004 by the MGM Trust, the institute presently offers UG and PG programs. The institute provides avenues for the holistic development of students with academic competence complemented by all-round growth, social & moral values.
Over the years, the institute has created a name for itself in physiotherapy education. There is a regular upgradation of clinical and laboratory set-ups, faculty and staff for higher studies. Faculty promotes critical thinking and problem based solving approach based on scientific evidence during patient care. They develop research interest and provide required research guidance and training to inculcate research in day to day practice.
Faculty development programs, provision of well equipped library with, adequate and latest, print and e-resources, additional support to students through mentors, class teachers and professional counselor, use of e-administration, education beyond syllabus through training programs, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and community services are some of the best practices we endeavor to follow.
Our students have consistently performed well academically, securing 100% results at the university level examinations in the final year. The majority of our students are well placed in different academic, clinical set-ups, and got admissions for higher studies in prestigious institutions worldwide. Technical know-how, leadership capabilities, organization skills and spirit of social service are enhanced through the activities of the Student Council and Community outreach services.
