Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPTh)


Overview

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTh), is an under graduate full-time four-year programme along with six-month clinical internship. Programme helps students to proffer competency in knowledge and physiotherapeutic skills to diagnose and manage movement dysfunction. The programme also emphasis on to enhance professional Physiotherapy Practice, Ethics, Education and Research, in line with global standards.

Programme Recognition:Affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nasik.

Total Intake:30 Seats [State quota (85%), Institutional quota (including NRI 15%), etc.]

Eligibility Criteria

  • Admission eligibility for this course is passing of 12th standard examination of Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Board (H.S.C.) or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) subjects.
  • Admissions are centrally carried out through a Common Entrance Test, NEET (National Eligibility & Entrance Test). Admission to course is on the basis of merit; according to the results of the NEET examination.
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.

Admission Process

For DMER

  1. A college-wise list of selected candidates will be declared on DMER website
  2. Candidates will approach college with original documents and requisite fee to complete admission procedure.
  3. Round-wise admission process will continue till cut-off date as per NEET Brochure

For Institutional Quota (Including NRI)
Admissions will take place as per NEET brochure and DMER directives

Important Instructions

  • For DMER CAP round and Institutional quota admissions, fees to be paid at the time of admission.
  • For DMER CAP round students, fees are payable by A/c payee Demand Draft drawn in favor of MGM College of Physiotherapy, payable at Navi Mumbai.
  • For Institutional quota students, fees are payable by NEFT/DD/IMPS/SBI Collect.
  • Fees for consecutive academic year to be paid before the commencement of classes for that year.

  • (Passport/Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate/Ration Card)
  • Affidavit of Sponsor disclosing his/her full identity i.e., Name, Age, Address of Residence, Occupation, Relationship with candidate duly signed by sponsor
  • Driving license/Telephone bill/Electricity bill/ ITR of last 2 years confirming the sponsor’s address
  • Bank statement of last six months
  • Valid VISA of sponsor & student (if applicable)
  • NOC from Police verification

Academic Fees As fixed by Fee Regulation Authority (FRA)
D. D. in favour: MGM College of Physiotherapy, payable at Navi Mumbai

Note: The fees are subject to change as per directive by Fee Regulation Authority (FRA).

Cancellation of Admissions

The selected candidate must join the college, on or before the date prescribed by the Competent Authority, failing which his/her admission stands cancelled.

The selected candidate who has joined the college and desires to cancel the admission should cancel it, at the respective college.

The college will accept the cancellation and inform the Competent Authority along with copy of the cancellation letter immediately.

Any application for cancellation admission sent to competent authority will not be considered.
