Overview

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT), a full-time two-year duration programme, is directed towards rendering competency in knowledge, skills and research related to advance physiotherapeutic skills especially related to specialty clinical fields to enhance professional Physiotherapy Practice, Education and Research, in line with global standards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.Th) from MUHS or any other UGC recognized university.
  • Admissions are undertaken on merit basis according to the results of Common Entrance Test, PGP-CET examination conducted by the State Government
  • Candidate shall be medically fit.

Admission Process

For DMER

  1. Candidate must have completed the BPTH program and PGP CET
  2. A college-wise list of selected candidates will be declared on DMER website
  3. Candidates will approach college with original documents and requisite fee to complete admission procedure.
  4. Round-wise admission process will continue till cut-off date as per PGP CET Brochure

For Institutional Quota (Including NRI)
Admissions will take place as per PGP CET brochure and DMER directives

Important Instructions

  • For DMER CAP round and Institutional quota admissions, fees to be paid at the time of admission.
  • For DMER CAP round students, fees are payable by A/c payee Demand Draft drawn in favor of MGM College of Physiotherapy, payable at Navi Mumbai.
  • For Institutional quota students, fees are payable by NEFT/DD/IMPS/SBI Collect.
  • Fees for consecutive academic year to be paid before the commencement of classes for that year.

  • (Passport/Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate/Ration Card)
  • Affidavit of Sponsor disclosing his/her full identity i.e., Name, Age, Address of Residence, Occupation, Relationship with candidate duly signed by sponsor
  • Driving license/Telephone bill/Electricity bill/ ITR of last 2 years confirming the sponsor’s address
  • Bank statement of last six months
  • Valid VISA of sponsor & student (if applicable)
  • NOC from Police verification

Fees Structure

Application Form fee 1,000/- (One Thousand only)
Academic Fees As fixed by Fee Regulation Authority (FRA)
Payment details D. D. in favor of MGM COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY, payable at Navi Mumbai.

Note: The fees are subject to change as per directive by Fee Regulation Authority (FRA).

Cancellation of Admissions

The selected candidate must join the college, on or before the date prescribed by the Competent Authority (DMER/ PGP-CET), failing which his/her admission stands cancelled.

The selected candidate who has joined the college and desires to cancel the admission should cancel it, at the respective college.

The college will accept the cancellation and inform the Competent Authority along with copy of the cancellation letter immediately.

Applications for cancellation should be sent to the respective institute. Any application for cancellation of admission sent to competent authority will not be considered.
